Koh Hong, Krabi

The Amazing Nature in Jungle Island

“When roaming to the inland sea of the island, you will be awakening to a new dimension of the world. Sparkling sun caressing pure white sandy beaches leaves you with the feeling of tranquility.”

Thailand offers a lot more than just an impressive sweet smile. Located approximately 814 kilometers from Bangkok is Krabi province, one of most attractive destinations in southern Thailand. Krabi is an ideal getaway destination swelling with natural attractions including white sandy beaches, fascinating coral reefs, numerous large and small islands and lush forests filled with caves and waterfalls.
This issue, we bring our lovely readers to Koh Hong, the Andaman Sea. This island is part of a group of islands on the north of Krabi. Koh Hong is an outstanding island almost completely surrounded by Limestone Mountain. Since the bay of this island is so similar to a hall, it is the reason why the island is called Koh Hong meaning a hall island. When roaming to the inland sea of the island, you will be awakening to a new dimension of the world. Sparkling sun caressing pure white sandy beaches leaves you with the feeling of tranquility. The charming turquoise seawater will set your spirit free as you walk barefoot without any concerns. Koh hong is one of the best hideaway to lie down and see the indescribably beautiful scene of a romantic sunset in the evening while enjoying the natural sea breeze.
The most astonishing period for Koh Hong is between December-March. It’s a magical time when you will be amazed by thousands of clownfish playfully whirling in crystal clear water.

How to get there:
There are speedboat services from Ao Nang to Koh Hong. An easier and quicker way is to buy a half-day travel package from the travel agencies which includes transportation, food, beverage, kayaking activity, and a guide.
